# Towny

Towny allows you to have a protected region to claim land & keep items and builds protected.

**Towny - Siege War:** \

**In SiegeWar, wars are decided by Sieges:** \
Each siege is a "Capture The Flag" battle, which takes place on the border of a town. Each siege has a maximum 7 hours of fight time, spread over the course of a weekend. ![🤼](https://discord.com/assets/2b383b989d3c84b2.svg) \

**Each siege has 2 opposing teams:** \
Attackers: An attacking nation + its allies. \

**Geopolitical Results:** If the attackers win, they can Plunder the town. If the attackers win, they can Capture the town and add it to their nation. \

Money required for Town creation: $0 \
Money required for Nation creation: $5000 \
Nation Balance required for Siege: $50 \

**Siege Schedule (EST):** \
Siege Banner placement: Mon-Thu \
\
**Battle Sessions:** \
**Fri** - 11:00pm \
**Sat** - 6:00am, 12:00pm, 7:00pm \
**Sun** - 6:00am, 12:00pm, 7:00pm\

Each Battle Session lasts for 1 hour, and the Siege zone takes 7 minutes to capture. \
